Your Position

In your new position as Senior Project Manager in our Renewables division, you will join a team of enthusiastic and collaborative engineers in the Large Projects department. From the onshore substation to and including the offshore substation and wind farm, our team covers every aspect involved in transmitting electricity from offshore turbines to the onshore grid.

As a global leader in offshore substations, we serve clients across diverse markets spanning Europe, Taiwan, and the USA. Your role will be central in leading the growth of our offshore wind business within the substation sector, offering you a thrilling opportunity to be part of shaping the future of renewable energy. You oversee driving the project forward.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take on the responsibility of executing EPCI Projects, managing the project life cycle from initial client engagement to delivering the final project. You are a strong leader. You care about your people and lead through open and honest communication.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the project life cycle for large renewable projects.
  • Preparing estimates, offers, and calculations during the budget & quotation phase.
  • Ensuring that the scope and defined objectives are adhered to the project.
  • Taking part in establishing the project teams. You take the leadership task and know the importance of visible leadership, both in the office, on-site, and towards stakeholders.
  • Conducting status meetings with the design and construction teams for the project.
  • Joint responsibility for maintaining a strong relationship with the client.

Your Profile & Qualifications

As a person, you are known for being reliable and trusted by the people you work with. You can build and maintain professional relationships with your stakeholders and are passionate about building high-performance project teams. In addition, being able to structure your time with a high degree of flexibility is something you take pride in, as is your solution-oriented approach. You enjoy working with optimizing and helping your team to perform.

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have:

  • A relevant engineering degree, such as Marine Engineering or similar.
  • Extensive Project Management experience from working with EPC contracts.
  • Strong experience with stakeholder and risk management.
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written.
