ABOUT THE ROLE

The Country Manager – Denmark role drives enterprise sales growth engagements with new and existing strategic accounts. In this role you’ll have an opportunity to engage with executives and senior leaders in a well-established organization to manage business development initiatives and lead a consultative sales process to secure multi-service engagements. We are looking for a commercial entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven track record of building relationships, selling consulting solutions, and successfully navigating sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • P&L responsibility for Denmark – both Sales & Marketing.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and engaging clients interested in developing organizational leadership capability and/or interested in applying leadership management on must-win business initiatives.
  • Develop Account growth strategies that position the Learn2Lead brand as a market leader towards named accounts.
  • Initiate targeted marketing activities in collaboration with the Course Coordinator in Aalborg, a Danish telemarketing agency, and the marketing team in the Netherlands.
  • Grow Learn2Lead turnover both OEP and in-Company.
  • Full autonomy to develop and implement sales strategies, prioritize customers, and develop relations to both existing and new clients.
  • Collaborate with internal training partners on regular client touchpoints, to include annual account reviews for the most important strategic accounts, provide direction and on-going feedback on leadership management strategy, and recommend Learn2Lead in offerings that will advance client’s managerial capabilities.
  • Represent the organisation in a variety of marketing and growth activities, including onsite sales meetings, and online meetings with potential clients, tradeshows, and events.
  • Manage all aspects of Lean2Leads’s client acquisition process from identifying new opportunities, assessing, and scoping needs of the client, creating compelling proposals, collaborating with Lean2Lead’s team on timing and fit, and successfully close contracts.

ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong solution sales experience and negotiation skills within Learning & Development, HR, Consultancy, or related Service industries.
  • Proven ability to build proposals comprising multiple components, e.g. training, advisory, capability building, licensing.
  • Track record of successful goal/quota attainment in sales or business development responsible role.
  • High level of interpersonal and emotional intelligence, including the ability to handle complex client situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration skills; comfortable partnering with multiple team members and other functional areas for team-based selling
  • Experience of building strategic account plans for regional accounts, and a proven track record of successful account management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Power Point and Excel are required, as well as experience with CRM systems (Super Office is ideal).

PPROFESSONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 10+ years of experience acquiring new clients using a consultative sales approach with expertise in leadership management, advisory services and/or professional service sales.
  • 10+ years of experience engaging with senior-level leaders across multiple industries.
  • A track record of successful goal/quota attainment in sales or business development responsible role.
  • Fluency in Danish & English verbal and writing.
  • Experience of solutions sales, ideally related to people and organisations.
  • Excellent professional judgment and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, able to arrive at the best solutions for all parties.
  • Work location: Hybrid-Remote / Copenhagen rental office. (Danish HQ is based in Aalborg)
  • Travel Requirements: 30% of the time in Denmark.
