About the role

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with one of the world's leading logistics companies? Maersk is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team. In this exciting role, you will work closely with senior functional leaders, supporting and challenging them in their forecasts and ensuring they have the necessary financial transparency and insights to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Financial Planning: Own the entire financial planning and cost forecasting process, including risk and opportunity analysis and business case development.
  
  
• Strategic Partnering: Build strong relationships with Function Heads, acting as a trusted and value-adding Finance Business Partner.
  
  
• Financial Transparency: Ensure stakeholders understand their financial responsibilities and areas of accountability.
  
  
• Challenging Unrealistic Plans: Critically evaluate financial plans based on business drivers, trends, and alignment with functional and business strategy.
  
  

What are we looking for

• Experience: Over 10 years of finance partnering experience, ideally within a global business environment.
  
  
• Expertise: Proven track record in managing SG&A costs.
  
  
• Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to set direction and influence senior leaders.
  
  
• Adaptability: Comfortable working at a fast pace and dealing with ambiguity.
  
  
• Tools: Proficiency in using cloud-based financial planning platforms.
