Senior Electronic Test Engineer – bridge R&D and production

In Oticon our goal is to provide world-class solutions to our end-users of hearing aids.

We want to put a spotlight on optimizing our PCBA production tests, hitting the sweet spot between test time and quality.

Therefore, we need a new colleague in R&D to specify how the hearing aids should be tested, so test time in production is lean. Over time optimization of existing tests in the production could also be an area of interest.

Your responsibility is first and foremost to take ownership of specifying what and how to test.

You will be doing so by:

• Defining test methodologies and writing tests specifications.
• Conducting data analysis.
• Documenting according to SOP’s and quality management systems.

In your daily work you will collaborate with relevant stakeholders, e.g. developers of firmware, hardware, chipset, and test systems. In collecting relevant input, you set the agenda for how to do the testing.

You will have limited travel activities in this position.

Your new team

You will become a part of an agile Scrum team that currently consists of three people located in R&D doing production integration testing. We have a great team spiritand support each other in making the right decisions.

We will soon become part of an Agile Release Train and start working according to the SAFe framework. We will ensure you get the relevant training.

You will be referring to Thomas Algren Petersen, Manager, Test Systems Development.

What we are looking for

You have +5 years of experience in electronic development and testing – preferably mass production testing, where your assignments have been the same as ours.

If you have experience with production, it will be an extra bonus for us, but is not a requirement.

You are fluent in English.

You are ready for a job based in Smørum.
