HR Generalist - Unicon A/S – part of Cementir

On behalf of Unicon A/S, we are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Generalist with a strong background in employment law counseling to join the HR team.
In this role, you will provide critical support in ensuring compliance with employment regulations, offering expert advice on labor laws, and managing various HR functions related to employee relations, performance management, and policy development. You will be assigned the task of supporting the HR Manager in Unicon DK in business support, HR legal and administrative assignments, and supporting managers and employees in daily operations and development.
The position is a 12-month temporary position.

You will become part of a professional and well-functioning HR team consisting of 15 competent and passionate employees, and you will get a pivotal role as a key point of contact to employees and managers across the organization.
The position is located in Aalborg; however, you will be expected to drive to the company’s other departments on occasion.

You will be assigned the task of supporting the HR Manager in Unicon DK in business support, HR legal and administrative assignments, and supporting managers and employees in daily operations and development.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Advise on Danish labor law and best practices, to inform decisions and guide critical employee processes
- Supporting the organization regarding Unicon’s 3 collective and local agreements for their more than 300 blue-collar employees
- Handle employee disputes and provide support in termination processes and disciplinary and sick leave cases
- Responsible for recruitment apprentices in Unicon DK as well as finalizing their agreements and ensuring a development plan for all apprentice groups
- Handle employer branding for blue-collar positions and apprentices
- Cross-organizational collaboration with the HR team in the Nordic and Baltic Regions
- Support managers in employee development plans
- Ad hoc HR administration
Your qualifications
To be successful in the role, you are required to have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a similar educational background within HR
- Experience in HR, including hands-on management of employment issues and experience in HR program development and execution
- Knowledge of Danish labor laws, including collective agreements
- Experience in a production or logistics organization, including different groups of employees, blue-collar and white-collar
- Written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English
- The ability to navigate complex situations and provide HR guidance
- Have a car at your disposal and the ability to drive to Unicon's locations and external activities
