We are looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to join our Health Care Content (HCC) Team (part of our Genetic Sciences business) in the Nordics. This is an exciting time to be joining a rapidly growing team, with the chance to make a real contribution to the fight against COVID-19.
As TSS you will concentrate on growing our HCC business within the Nordics, with a particular focus on our COVID-19 solutions (q-PCR tests and associated products). You will work to increase sales of these products across a broad range of customer segments within the clinical diagnostics market. You will be both a key member of the sales team, as well as a technical resource for customers and colleagues across the territory.
You will develop in-depth knowledge of the market, our customers and our competitors and utilize this to identify sales opportunities. You will then forge connections and build relationships with prospective customers to build a strong business pipeline for future growth. You will also maintain relationships with current customers to maintain a good quality of service and foster organic growth.
To be successful in this role, you must have extensive hands-on experience of q-PCR, coupled with working knowledge of next generation sequencing and microarrays. You must also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of selling into the clinical diagnostic market, Reference Labs and hospitals.
