Mai's Wok is a popular Asian restaurant in the center of Odense, offering authentic Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. The restaurant is known for its delicious wok food and cozy atmosphere, where guests can enjoy a wide range of taste experiences. Owner Mai Trang has extensive experience in Vietnamese cooking/culture/cuisine. The restaurant attaches great importance to quality, good service and a good collaborative environment.
About the job:
Are you passionate about cooking and have experience in managing a kitchen? Mai's Wok is looking for a committed kitchen employee/chef who can be part of our fusion of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality and efficiency in the kitchen and work closely with our current team (with opportunities for creativity, influence and flexibility). The restaurant is open 6 days a week and the working hours will primarily be from 15.00-21.00 incl. weekend work. You can expect to work 30-37 hours with the possibility of more.
We expect:
• That you can speak Vietnamese (and Danish)
• Experience in a kitchen – preferably Asian
• to be creative in a kitchen and create lots of colorful and tasty dishes
• Have an overview even in busy times
• Basic knowledge of hygiene standards
• Robust and psychological stretch
• Committed and passionate and ambitious
• is a flexible and positive team player who is determined that we help each other
• produces with high quality and creativity
• is positive and has a desire for new tasks
• Good mood, is proactive, happy, open and helpful - and which contributes to the good atmosphere in our kitchen, even when we are busy.
