Restaurant and summer destination with accommodation in Bamble Municipality, Telemark.
We are looking for a chef who thrives in a hectic everyday life and who likes to work among people.
Presence is important to us, so the role is operational and you will work closely with a skilled, well-functioning team. It is important to us that you are solution-oriented, even in stressful periods. We are looking for you who have a qualification as a chef or have long and relevant experience in the cooking profession and restaurant kitchens. You are also good at service and have a good understanding of good guest experiences.

Specific tasks:
  • You will primarily work with the daily operation of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate and report to the head chef.
  • À la carte, party food and catering.
  • Training, development and follow-up of employees.
  • Ordering, inventory, inventory and control.
  • Follow-up of customers and other partners.
  • Contribute to a good working environment and cooperation with colleagues in the various departments.
  • Follow-up of IK-MAT and HACCP.


Skills:
Qualified chef, able to work under stress and good at collaborating. Requirements for Scandinavian or English language/understanding.

Qualifications:
  • Documented qualification as a chef or relevant experience from the same type of position.
  • Independent and flexible.
  • Scandinavian language (advantage)
  • Good understanding of kitchen economics.
  • Good knowledge of restaurant operations.
  • Be just as good at handling fast-paced and high-stress working days as calm days with a slower pace.
  • Be good at planning, organising, assessing, evaluating and changing plans continuously.
  • Advantage of driving license B.

  • Engaged and a distinctly yes-person.
  • Neat, efficient and structured.
  • You take responsibility and carry out the tasks you have.


Working hours and place of work
8 hours a day, 40 hous a week

1.5.2024/1.6.2024 to 31.8.2024

Salary
Minimum 220 NOK per hour, gros
