We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join [xxxxx] Group

As an Internal Communications Specialist at [xxxxx], you have the opportunity to define, develop and deliver global internal employee communication.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop the right messaging and format for key content that needs to be cascaded in the company. A core deliverable will be to support the development of an internal communication channel (Sharepoint).

A key part of your role will be to embed the business strategy and company brand within the organization – making sure to reach all relevant employees through channels that work best for them. All this, while driving a strong, purpose-driven and inclusive employee culture.

The primary task will be:

• Lead introduction and build of a new global Sharepoint site from a comms perspective – and ensure it is tailored around the [xxxxx] Brand story, focused on user experience and business needs.
• Manage employee communication and identify the right comms means for the audience, depending on topics and scope.
• Develop communication plans for internal employee campaigns, activities, and projects and build impactful content, formats and activities. Deliver comms and measure results.
• Regularly contribute content to the company's Intranet and other digital communication platforms - including organizational announcements.
• Support internal leadership communication

Your profile:

Our future colleague has the ability to lead ambitious global comms projects - but also solve simple day-to-day tasks and be hands on. The skillset needed to execute on communication plans as a hands-on contributor, including writing and editing, project management and preferably some basic graphic design.

Experience in internal & employee communication - covering topics such as employee engagement, inclusion, strategy translation, and employer branding – is preferred.

We expect you to have approx. 3+ years’ (or more) experience working within a global organisation as a trusted communications professional. Experience working with senior/executive management is preferred.

Furthermore, fluency in English with excellent writing skills is a must, as well as the ability to adapt quickly and comfortably to the company’s “tone of voice” in writing articles, and video scripts. Likewise, we expect you to hold a master's degree in communications or relevant field.

Proficiency with SharePoint and digital savviness to create your own content, whether it be short videos or podcasts, stories for the Intranet or PowerPoint presentations is a must.
