Tax specialist

Your primary function will be to help ensure that our tax processes are up to date and in accordance with country regulations – and sometimes the legislation is not that mature yet in the energy industry, and then we help set the tax direction. We also have an ambition to mature our internal tax processes.Your areas of responsibility will include the following:

analyse different aspects within corporation tax, international tax, transfer pricing and indirect tax

assist in strengthening the tax risk management and tax control frameworks and put new governance to the models

assist the team with various tax-related tasks

collaborate with authorities and advisors

As such, we handle all tax matters in the company globally, and our responsibility is to ensure that we are always compliant within the tax area. In the team, we also collaborate closely with the direct- and indirect tax teams in our parent company Equinor.We are a team of four dedicated specialists within tax and VAT in which openness and respect are key values. have an education within Law, Auditing, Finance, Economics or similar

have a least two years of experience from a similar position or as an auditor or tax advisor

have experience with presenting solutions and recommendations to different stakeholders

are proficient in English – both written and verbal
