As Director for BRD QC Innovation and Business Support you will oversee a well-established department consisting of 35 highly skilled employees, that drives the innovation in BRD QC as well as supporting the business. You will have a high impact on our project portfolio and in your daily day you will have a high level of interaction with key stakeholders both within and outside BRD QC. Your main responsibilities will generally be focused on developing and maintaining an organisation that supports BRD QC deliveries, strategic priorities, and selected business processes. This includes:
  • Activities supporting the achievement of short- and long-term analysis deliverables e.g., short- and long-term capacity planning
  • Developing and executing on strategic projects and priorities e.g., capacity optimisation and utilisation, new technology, QC4.0 / Innovation
  • Setting direction and continuously develop systems and tools supporting business processes across BRD QC e.g., forecasting, Lean, GMP, training, investment management and risk management
  • Supporting the organisation to maintain sufficient level of compliance with cGMP and NN QMS
  • You will report directly to the Vice President and be part of the management team in our QC area and together with this group you will be responsible for setting goals and implementation of strategic initiatives for the whole BRD QC area. Our on-site office-based work is based in Gentofte, Denmark. Qualifications
    To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
  • A MSc degree related to Life Science and relevant experience working within QC
  • At least, 5 years of experience being a leader of leaders
  • Project Management and change management experience
  • Interest in working with continuous improvement; Lean, adaptation of new technology, and new ways of working
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • On a personal level you are empathic. You take pride in engaging, motivating, and enabling your employees to succeed. You are passionate about driving change and innovation. You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Finally, you are able to see where changes can be made to improve the department and make things happen. About the department Quality Control is the part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD), where we are responsible for supporting the production with chemical and microbiological analyses. In this way, we ensure that our life-saving medicine for people with serious chronic diseases always has the right, high quality. We are more than 350 colleagues located in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg. We drive improvements and innovation by, for example, working with Industry 4.0 to make the process faster and more seamless for the benefit of patients. Working at BRD, Novo Nordisk
