About the role

We are currently looking for two interns to join our department of Active Products in the period of fall 2024. You will primarily work at our office in Kalundborg in first place. However, some days can be operated from Virum office.

We are many passionate engineers working with both upstream and downstream processes within pharma and biotechnology – and we have had many great internships over the years and can’t wait to welcome the next bright students in our team.

We are responsible for designing the needed equipment to generate a specific product. We typically work with capacity calculation, specification, selection and procurement of process equipment, PFD and P&ID creation and update. The wide variety of tasks is not only bound to our own department, as you will also experience how we support other disciplines for example with 3D models, quality risk assessment or testing activities.

Your tasks as an intern, will be (but are not limited to):

  • develop PFD’s and PID’s together with our engineers.
  • participate in design decision workshops together with colleagues and customers.
  • implement decided solutions to a design (layout, PID’s and more)
  • follow the execution of the projects and play an active part of the project together with our engineers.
  • capacity calculations

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this intern role:

  • You are in the later phases of a relevant engineering education within chemistry, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical production.
  • You write and speak English. Danish and other languages will be considered an advantage.
  • You master desktop software like Word and Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is also an advantage
