The PositionAs a Cleaning Process Engineer, you will deliver world-class support to production by handling cleaning issues with a sense of urgency, ensuring minimal production downtime. The main tasks will be to:

Be present on the factory floor, building relationships with operators and optimizing processes.

Continuously optimize the process and equipment to achieve error-free and efficient cleaning processes.

Handle deviations from standard procedures and implement corrective actions, qualify and validate equipment and processes.

Write change requests, SOPs, protocols, reports, and other documentation related to API production.

Participate in minor projects or contribute to greater investment projects.

This position requires interaction with various stakeholders, including quality assurance, production, development, laboratories, technical support, and management. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Requirements and implementing LEAN principles in the department. QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you have:

An educational background as an engineer, Cand. Scient, Cand. Pharm - or technical background with solid practical production experience.

Experience with the production of pharmaceuticals, food, or fuel/gas and knowledge of LEAN principles is an advantage.

Any related experience with production equipment (tanks, pumps, valves etc.), automation/coding, data analysis, and industry 4.0 initiatives is also seen as a big plus.

Full professional proficiency in English and willingness to learn Danish.

About the departmentThe purification Plant (PP) in Kalundborg consists of 4 individual plants for purifying insulin and GLP1. With more than 600 employees PP has its own laboratory, maintenance department, and business support. The Cleaning Support Team consists of 15 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues who support 4 factories and major investment projects in PS API.
