Student Assistant

Studiejob - København K

Opportunity

Join our dynamic Crewing team in Copenhagen as a Student Assistant!
In Crewing CPH we are responsible for planning all officers and cadets for 95 vessels, preparing and training crew for our methanol new buildings, and managing officer travel arrangements. If you are an organized, outgoing and detail-oriented student with a passion for administrative tasks and communication, we want to hear from you!

We Offer:
As a Student Assistant in our Crewing team, you will gain hands-on experience in the maritime industry. You will be working with a diverse team of many nationalities with significant expertise in crew planning and travel coordination, who are all very passionate about their roles and colleagues.
This role will provide valuable insights and a direct connection to our seafarers, making a meaningful contribution to our operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with travel bookings and arrangements for officers and cadets
  • Support the crewing team with light officer planning and administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate records in our COMPAS tool
  • Coordinate with AMEX and internal departments to ensure smooth crew changes and travel plans
  • Join the team for vessel and office visits, to connect with our seagoing colleagues

Who We Are Looking For:

You are currently undergoing relevant education, i.e. a bachelor, or in the beginning of your Master degree. You will undergo training in the job, so the right candidate would not necessarily need any prior professional experience in the field of Marine HR. It would however be great if you:

  • Are a strong communicator who takes pride in accurate and timely communication
  • Have the ability to work independently (sometimes) under time pressure
  • Have attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Have a passion for people and making connections
  • Thrive in a busy and loud yet super fun environment
  • Outgoing and not afraid to challenge status quo
  • Analytical with a keen eye for detail
  • Proactive, able to take ownership of tasks and meet strict deadlines (travel bookings)
  • Strong communication skills, not afraid to pick up the phone and call our officers and partners

Work Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week
  • Due to the nature of our business we would require you to work a minimum of 3 days per week, initially preferably in the office. We prefer a candidate who can work daily during summer (July/August) while team members are taking their summer break
