About DI’s newly established Asia Hub

DI’s Asia Hub in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) has a dual purpose; help Danish companies establish

themselves and grow in the Southeast Asia region and manage DI’s strategic partnerships with local business organisation

to promote sustainable growth and job creation.

We promote sustainable business practices, green transition, and inclusive labor markets by working with local business associations, governments, and NGOs across Vietnam

, Indonesia

, the Philippines

, and neighboring countries. Our office is partly supported through a strategic partnership with Danida

, and we closely collaborate with DI’s headquarters in Copenhagen as well as our international network.

As an intern, you will be part of a passionate team that advises and supports Danish companies wishing to explore, expand, or operate in the Southeast Asian markets.

About the Job


We are looking for one responsible and passionate intern, eager to take on different tasks within business development, project management, communication, and sustainability. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Analyzing market potential across various sectors in Southeast Asia, developing reports, and preparing presentations
  • Researching and identifying Danish companies interested in entering the Southeast Asian market
  • Supporting project planning and implementation
  • Coordinating and assisting with delegations visiting the region
  • Communicating regional economic, political, and sustainability developments via social media and articles
  • Identifying potential local project partners and buyers for Danish solutions
  • Promoting DI’s services and growing awareness on social media
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc assignments

What We Expect from You


We are seeking an intern with:

  • A strong interest in emerging markets, sustainability, and business development in Southeast Asia
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and at the same time deliver high-quality results
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Proactive, with the ability to balance multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and preferably Danish
  • Ideally, you are a master's student with some international experience

Practical Information

  • Duration

    : 6 months, starting the 1st of August 2025.
  • Working Hours

    : Full-time (40 hours per week). Reduced working hours can be arranged.
  • Compensation

    : The internship is unpaid, but DI provides partial reimbursement for housing. You may also apply for grants to cover additional expenses.
  • Credits

    : The internship is typically eligible for academic credit.
  • Location

    : DI’s office in Vietnam

    . The internship will start with an introduction at DI’s headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark

    for 3-4 weeks.
