Enterprise risk officer

This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde, Denmark, and you will join our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. It is organizationally anchored in Risk & Security with reference to the Manager of Enterprise Risk Management. The ERM team is responsible for the Enterpriser Risk Management framework and integrating it into [xxxxx]. The team supports 1st line of defense in understanding and applying the ERM framework. Furthermore, the team develop and report on the risk profile for [xxxxx].

The Enterprise Risk Management team is growing and will consists of 7 dedicated employees this year. We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Officer with knowledge and understanding of enterprise risk management and generation of overall risk picture from IT risk assessments and risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) performed in business units.

In the position you will work closely with stakeholders across 1st line of defense and stakeholders from the three other teams in Risk & Security, IT Risk, IT Security and Risk & Security Integration.

At [xxxxx], we work in a hybrid remote model, coming into the office an average 3 days a week and working remotely for 2 days. Your direct manager will be Anders Balle Jensen, Head of the ERM team.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Proactively supporting 1st line in understanding and apply the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Contribute to further strengthen our enterprise risk management processes, methodology and framework.
  • Contribute to further strengthen our annual risk assessment process and methodology.
  • Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders on relevant risk issues in risk management.
  • Support risk identification, assessment and monitoring of non-financial risks by risk owners across [xxxxx].
  • Conduct training sessions for 1st line to enhance risk and control understanding and awareness.
  • Support 1st line in performing risk assessments on business and IT processes.
  • Challenge and advise 1st line on identified risks, controls and assessed effectiveness of controls.
  • Data driven risk analysis, e.g., scenario analysis, and reporting.
  • Contribute to development of the annual risk assessment report.

To succeed you will have:

  • An educational background at Master’s level with 3+ years of experience from a similar position working with 2nd line risk management
  • Experience with developing enterprise risk management methodologies in practice.
  • Experience with integrating enterprise risk management framework into 1st line risk management.
  • Experienced in doing risk reporting.
  • Experience with GRC modules, preferably in ServiceNow, or other risk systems.
  • Have conducted risk workshops with risk owners and SME’s.
  • Good analytic mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build relations.
  • People focused and a team player contributing to a positive team environment.
  • You master English at a both in writing and orally

It’s nice-to-have:

  • Experience with IT risk management and/or IT-security is an advantage.
  • Knowledge about the financial sector or tech.
  • Knowledge of international standards for Enterprise Risk Management, e.g. COSO ERM or ISO 31000
