The position
IFP is the largest unit of Product Supply in Novo Nordisk and is still growing. As a Procurement Project Manager, you will work with stakeholders in the 8 IFP sites located across the globe. You will be responsible for driving process excellence, optimization projects and strategic discussions in collaboration with procurement and supply chain teams of the IFP manufacturing sites. As an important stakeholder for both the IFP sites and the HQ procurement entities at Novo Nordisk, you will bridge strategic directions and local challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying and prioritizing improvement projects to enhance the procurement process and increase efficiency

Directly driving project planning and execution, which involves creating and developing project plans, as well as monitoring and controlling project work

Assessing the foundations of the business case and challenging assumptions for informed decision-making; negotiating project resources with Line of Business management and effectively managing them throughout project execution

Collaborating with the project owner to establish appropriate project governance, reporting project performance to stakeholders, and performing integrated change management

Identifying training needs and setting up the necessary training programs to ensure that employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to perform their jobs effectively

This role is located in Bagsværd, Denmark, however limited travel based on a need can be expected.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can independently navigate across functions and borders through exceptional stakeholder management skills. Our ideal candidate is a great communicator who uses analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for standardization and process improvement and can handle a project end-to-end.

To succeed in this role, you have:

Academic degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management

Training in Project Management or an International Certification in Project Management such as PMP certification along with knowledge of LEAN or Six Sigma

At least 5 years of experience within procurement, supply chain or manufacturing, preferably in a highly regulated industry, of which at least 3 years of experience are as project lead in the operational delivery of projects in the field of demand forecasting, master data management and/or inventory management

Expertise with SAP is considered advantageous

Professional proficiency in English

On a personal level, you can adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent support to colleagues across the organization. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate effectively, and facilitate productive discussions to align stakeholders towards common goals. You are a great multitasker who can manage various projects simultaneously.

About the department
IFP Finance and Procurement (F&P) team is a part of IFP Business Support, located in the Bagsværd HQ. We are a team of around 60 people from ~20 countries. IFP F&P team is responsible for both financial processes and procurement performance. We are a trusted partner to the organization, focusing on financial and procurement excellence, productivity as well as expanding the production network in the future. You will join a diverse and high-performing team of 15 colleagues.
