To help even more patients in the future, CMC Investment Project Office is on a mission to ensure accountable and effective project execution. Our responsibility is to drive CapEx investment projects for CMC Development and Scaling, primarily at site Bagsværd, but potentially also abroad. The portfolio spans widely from rebuilding existing pilot facilities and laboratories, installation of sophisticated equipment to brownfield projects, often with an element of automation and digitalization, to greenfield facilities.  As a Project Manager, you will lead projects and be responsible for and execute:
  • Define the overall scope of an investment project including budget and time schedule – in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders in line of business. 

  • Organise and lead multi-disciplinary project teams with external engineers and contractors to ensure successful completion of all project deliverables effectively. 

  • Provide periodic project status and updates to steering committees and other relevant stakeholders including risk assessment and mitigation actions, financial updates, etc.   

  • To succeed in this role, it is crucial you bring your complete Project Management toolbox into action, but also know how to bring your stakeholders onboard in the most effective way, creating partnerships, build trust, credibility and engagement. As most of our projects are executed in Bagsværd/Denmark, we will mostly need you to work full time onsite. Qualifications  We are looking for a Project Manager with the following qualifications:
  • Project experience from pharma/biotech investment projects. The experiences can come from either internal engineering/PMO organisations, engineering companies, contractors, or user organisation.

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering, biotechnology or similar. 

  • Several years of Project Management experience

    • Associate Project Manager: +3 years
    • Project Manager: +5 years
    • Senior Project Manager / Project Director: +7-10 year

  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, working cross-functionally with different areas of expertise, job functions, and experience levels.

  • Fully proficient in English - both written and spoken. 

  • You are a collaborator at heart and work seamlessly with your team to deliver exceptional outcomes that meet and exceed expectations, requiring excellent communication skills to build trusted relationships. You have excellent planning skills, combined with a systematic, pragmatic and agile mindset, enabling you to navigate complex tasks and challenges with ease. About the department
