About the role

The department must succeed in meeting expectations in our large project portfolio and ensuring excellent project governance. Along with the Director and existing manager of AIT Project Management, you will be responsible for ensuring a successful team, who work together on delivering highly technical and advanced projects. Your main priorities will be to focus on our customer deliveries, and to create a good working environment for our team of more than 33 highly skilled project managers.

The team consists of Project Managers on all levels with experience within Automation, SCADA, IT/OT and SW development. We strongly believe in good working conditions, taking care of our employees and winning as a team.

Our project execution is based upon PMP from traditional planning to execution processes as well as agile methodologies such as SCRUM and eSAFE dependent on the area and our customers’ requests.

As a manager of AIT Project Management, you’ll:

  • Ensure we have the needed resources in the team with the right competence mix that are aligned with our growth strategy as well as with our internal and external project pipeline
  • Gain peoples’ trust and ensure a high-level of employee and customer satisfaction with your proven leadership skills and your motivational feedback
  • Focus on department initiatives and ensure employee objectives are met
  • Focus on our project plans and ensure delivery within agreed schedules
  • Being part of- and when needed execute small assignments as Project Manager
  • Ongoing focus on the Project Management processes within AIT and ensure awareness of these and ongoing possible improvements

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • You have an educational background on bachelor level or similar relevant technical background.
  • Have at least 4 years experiences as people manager of a Project Management team or technical specialists
  • Have a background as Project Manager
  • Knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry is preferable
  • Are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken
