SAP Project Manager

Faxe

Do you want to lead exciting and high-attention SAP projects in a fast-evolving company?

At [xxxxx], we're experiencing unprecedented growth and expansion. Join us in shaping the future of our company as we integrate new businesses into our IT ecosystem.

If you're passionate about SAP and eager to contribute to our SAP roll-out projects and our S/4 HANA journey, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

As part of the development, we have built a PMO in Group IT where governance model, processes, templates, and supporting systems have been created and are under continuous improvement – this offers you plenty of opportunities to influence how we initiate, execute, manage, conclude, and follow up on projects.

What you will be doing

As a SAP Project Manager in the Group IT PMO, your projects will vary in size and duration, but all will be in close collaboration with your very experienced SAP Consultant colleagues and other colleagues in [xxxxx] whom you can rely on for expertise.

You will plan and manage SAP roll-out projects to acquired businesses and be a part of the readiness preparations for our S/4 HANA programme – for a senior candidate, it would be you managing our S/4 HANA programme with support from leaders and SMEs internally and externally.

Most projects will require some travelling between the [xxxxx] locations –approx. 2-4 days per month (primarily in Europe), planned in close collaboration with the core project team.

Your primary responsibilities

  • Initiate new projects in close collaboration with the business, IT Business Partner, and key consultants from our SAP teams with business outcomes and benefits at the core.
  • Project scoping, planning, budget controlling, and management – ensuring stable progress and handling of challenges during the project and planning the follow-up on post-project benefit realization.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the project team members.
  • Strong stakeholder management – aligning expectations with the business, securing transparency, and collaborating with the project SteerCo.
  • Contribute to continuously developing/improving processes, templates, and methods in the Group IT PMO.

What we are looking for

We seek a qualified SAP Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading full implementations of SAP, preferably in international environments.

You should be able to understand the weird SAP abbreviations and have a sense for SAP technology and processes, so that you as project manager can challenge the approach and speed, mitigate risks and known pitfalls.

Prior experience from companies on an S/4 HANA journey is an advantage.

You have a full project management methodology backpack, aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and actively participate in the work performed in the projects. We are a flat organization, and you will be expected to do the administrative parts of project management yourself based on the framework and tools provided in our Group IT PMO.

You will fit perfectly into our team of professional, dedicated, and fun people if you are:

  • Listening and open to inputs from others and contribute with your take on topics.
  • Thrive in a structure that is on many fronts under construction.
  • A highly skilled communicator who is capable of being very direct as well as showing extensive diplomacy depending on the context and target audience – being in relation to project team members, other business and Group IT stakeholders, and your project SteerCo.
  • Willing to dig into details when necessary but never losing sight of the big picture.
  • Proactive, with the ability to think ahead, identify and address potential challenges in projects at an early stage.
  • Eager to contribute to our ‘PMO & IT Business Partnering’ team being a great place to work where we challenge each other professionally, offer and receive sparring, and have fun – all of this in a team spread across the Nordics on multiple [xxxxx] locations.

Other professional qualifications

  • Project Management certification (IPMA, PMI, Prince2 or equivalent)
  • Experience with different project management methodologies – waterfall, agile, and hybrid methods.
  • Experience from a medium to large international organization.
  • English on a professional level – it is an advantage if you speak one of the Nordic languages.

What you can expect

The ‘PMO & IT Business Partnering’ team is a part of Group IT. To support the growth of [xxxxx] and modernise our central IT platforms, Group IT is growing extensively, and we are currently approx. 90 people across the Nordics, the Netherlands, Italy, and the Baltics - covering commercial applications, SAP Application Management, IT Security & Operations, integrations, and BI.

We are characterised by a close-knit environment where decisions are made without unnecessary delay, where we know each other across Group IT and in the local markets, and where positive collaborative relations are more important than hierarchies.

The position is at our Faxe office – some remote work is possible (1-2 days per week) - staying connected to your colleagues in the business and Group IT and becoming ingrained in the local site culture is particularly important in this role.

Contact and application:

Please apply on our website by pressing the "Apply" button no later than June 9th 2024.

You only need to submit your CV, no cover letter is required (upload your CV in the cover letter area).

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact our Head of PMO & Business Partnering, Group IT Stine Van der Vegte on mobile: +[xxxxx]

We look forward to hearing from you.

At [xxxxx], you'll find the industry's most dedicated, energetic, and experienced colleagues. Together, we build the best framework for a job that precisely matches your everyday life and career aspirations.

[xxxxx] produces, markets, sells, and distributes quality beverages. We are a consortium of more than 35 breweries and beverage producers from across Denmark, known especially for our traditional, locally-rooted brands such as Faxe Kondi, Egekilde, Royal Beer, Ceres, and Odense Pilsner, as well as partner brands like Pepsi MAX and Heineken.

Today, we are the second-largest beverage company in Denmark. Our journey began in 1856, and we still maintain a strong commercial focus, a clear growth strategy, and an ambitious sustainability strategy - both domestically and internationally.

You'll have over 1500 colleagues in Denmark and more than 2700 colleagues outside the country, including in Finland, Italy, France, Norway, Canada, the Netherlands, and the Baltic countries.

With us, you'll be part of challenging the boundaries of sustainable production and distribution. You'll help ensure a diverse range of beverages that bring people together - on the dance floor, during the third half, or over a meal - all while contributing to strengthening Danish sports, music, and community life.
