Data is known as one of the most valuable resources for an organization and quality data is crucial for financial systems and making informed choices. We in Finance are contributing to this vision by ensuring accurate financial data and reporting to assist the business decision-making. The data quality analytics team will safeguard the quality of transactional financial data and master data on the New Finance and Tax Platform (NFTP).

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will join a highly skilled team dedicated to improving the data quality of the end-to-end processes of NFTP. You will get the opportunity to work with data from all the platforms which interface with NFTP and learn the data flows inside NFTP as well as the outcome data which are consumed in various reports and downstream. Through working closely with our product and process owners, platform SMEs, application managers, IT engineers, you will get to build your circle of influence among stakeholders inside and outside the finance organization. Key responsibilities:

  • Cooperate with various finance teams and engineering teams on identifying the NFTP data quality issues as well as the business impact.
  • Drive discussion on fix solution by documenting data quality improvement requirements in the user story format
  • Groom the data quality-related user stories with the finance product owners and NFPT process teams and define the data quality KPIs
  • Coordinate between the finance product owners, NFTP process teams and the engineering team to align on priorities
  • Create data quality dashboards with the engineering team to visualize the prioritized data quality issues
  • Analyze and investigate data and map the root causes of data quality issues
  • Provide solution options to improve data quality
  • Assist the finance product owner teams in setting up processes for data quality improvement continuity
  • Demo findings and solutions to, and communicate on a regular basis with product owner teams, NFTP process teams, the leadership and other stakeholders

Who we are looking for:

Education, Experience and Technical Skills:

  • Preferred educational background: Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, data, statistics or equivalent
  • Hands-on working experience with business intelligence, performance management, or any other large data-related projects
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and common Microsoft Apps.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • ERP working experience, especially SAP or S/4HANA process experience is preferred
  • Reporting, assessment and visualization tool (e.g. SAC, PowerBI) hands-on experience preferred
  • Shipping or logistics and transportation experience preferred

  • Excited about data and comprehending the business context behind Strong conceptual abilities – able to translate complex issues into ideas and actions

  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision
