Your position

In your on-shore position as Cyber Security specialist in the Consulting Services team you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure, oil & gas, offshore wind, and Power-to-X.

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK.

The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up

You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international clients.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Cyber Security specialist your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity analyses and risk assessments for energy systems.
• Implement and monitor security measures across energy facilities. Design and implement security architectures for SCADA systems and smart grid networks.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, including conducting thorough incident responses and investigations.
• Advise clients on best practices in cybersecurity and energy systems. Perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate weaknesses.
• Prepare reports and presentations on security status and recommendations for clients.

The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs.

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for experienced and result-driven Cyber Security specialist who are passionate about cyber security and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or similar field.
• Relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the energy sector.
• In-depth knowledge of security concepts, technologies, and methods, especially within SCADA systems and industrial control equipment.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and security information and event management systems (SIEM).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level.
