Communications Specialist

We are looking for a Junior Communications Specialist to join an exciting project with our client in the Pharma Industry.

Our client has identified a critical need to enhance their internal communications to ensure clarity, engagement, and alignment across all levels of RED. To address this need, they propose the hiring of a dedicated Communications Specialist. This individual will be responsible for developing a comprehensive communication plan, refining the narrative, and ensuring that the content is visually appealing and easily comprehensible by end-users as well as management within R&ED and DDIT-RED.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Relevant education and experience within corporate and internal communications
• Experience establishing a clear and consistent communication cadence
• Experience with selecting and managing optimal communication channels
• Experience with creating a compelling and coherent narrative across all internal communications
• Experience with RED and DSI
• Able to enhance the visual appeal and comprehensibility of the content provided to RED and DSI LT
• Able to improve information flow and foster a culture of transparency within the organization
• It will be an advantage if the communication specialist has life-science or data-science knowledge/experience
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away
• Strong English skills both oral and written

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Developing a Communication Plan: Crafting a communication plan that outlines the frequency, channels, and content types for internal communications on both cluster- and product levels
• Curating Content: Working with the CDM cluster LTs to gather information and translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand messages that resonate with RED and DSI LT
• Visual Communication: Leveraging graphic design and multimedia tools to make content visually engaging, enhancing understanding and retention
• Channel Management: Identifying and implementing the most effective channels (e.g., email, newsletters, intranet, meetings, drop-ins) to reach different segments within the organization
• Feedback and Analytics: Establishing metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and using feedback to continuously refine communication strategies
• Crisis Communication: Being prepared to lead communication efforts during crises, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information to all stakeholders
