The Job

You will be part of our international team and a cross-office professional community for specialists with core expertise in nature-based design, planning, and research. You will work closely with the project manager on various projects and the projects' interdisciplinary colleagues: biologist, anthropologist, architect, landscape architect, and lighting designer. And together with clients, landscapers, gardeners, and nurseries, you will facilitate how the urban nature-based design will be realized.

The position includes designing a wide range of urban- and landscape projects, primarily located abroad. The work will consist of design, idea development, research, and project development and will take place in close dialogue within the team and with our specialists in [xxxxx].

Your educational background – and expectations for you:

We expect (but are not limited to) that you have a Master of Science degree as a landscape architect, nature and environmental manager, urban landscape engineer, or similar from Copenhagen University, Wageningen University, Lund University, Uppsala University, or similar institutions – and that you have solid experience working on international projects. We appreciate you having at least 3 years of relevant work experience with projects in various phases and acknowledge practical training and experience as well.

Qualifications

We are looking for an internationally oriented, energetic, Urban Designer who has the capability with the following experience and skills:

• Educational background as an architect, landscape architect, or equivalent.
• Have solid knowledge of urban nature-based design and are still interested in expanding your knowledge.
• Have strong research capabilities.
• Are trained in the Adobe package, AutoCAD, and potentially 3D programs/Rhino.
• Are accommodating and curious, and eager to learn.
• Thrive in working with a team.
• Can work independently, create a quick overview of the projects and work closely with different disciplines and partners.
• Are willing to work interdisciplinary and can tran[xxxxx]te knowledge into recommendations and solutions.
• Have strong English proficiency and can express yourself well in writing, and convey knowledge, and work in a simple, concrete, and understandable way.

The position is a full-time position. Salary and terms follow the collective agreement for architects. The position will be filled as soon as possible.
