The position As QC Chemist, you will be responsible for several of the team's microbiological analyses including sterile tests, germ checks and other microbiological tests.

Other tasks will include:
  • Preparation of documentation: Analytical regulations, instructions, laboratory tests and deviation reports, etc.
  • Supporting the team's labs.
  • Responsible for validation of analytical methods and preparation of answers to authority questions.
  • Responsible for your area of responsibility during inspections by various authorities.
  • Supporting management.
  • The team consists of 2 microbiologists and 9 laboratory technicians of mix of experience, from students to staff with more than 30 years of experience. In the team, there is a strong focus on helping each other and providing feedback to support optimisation of processes and having a strong community. There will be a focus on your development and training to support you going forward! Qualifications Your experiences include:
  • Academic degree education e.g. Pharmacist, Engineer or relevant.
  • 2 years+ of experience within microbiology/ similar position.
  • Experience/ an interest in process optimisation to improve workflows.
  • You enjoy working with engineering and laboratory equipment.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.

You are proactive in your approach with a focus on quality and attention to detail. About the Department BRD QC Microbiology belongs organizationally to Product Supply, and we perform all microbiological analyses on in-process samples, bulk, finished goods, raw materials, environment, and new products from all over BRD. Our work is central to ensuring high quality products and on-time delivery at our more than 62 customer departments. The department consists of four teams that work closely together. We are a total of about 68 people in the department, including 15 microbiologists. The other employees are laboratory technicians, specialists, managers, and administrative staff.
