The Position The role will primarily be accountable for the budget planning supporting on all levels in our 5 purification plants and project controls activities in a portfolio consisting of projects covering a range of simple to high complex projects across multiple disciplines. Other tasks of the role are:
  • Driving project controls activities for dedicated projects in the areas of cost management and change management regarding Novo Nordisk Accounting principles. Setting direction for third party vendors and engineering firms.
  • Prepare analysis, commentary and have confidence in doing presentations for financial budget reviews and reports to management and other stakeholders.
  • Finance partnering for all departments by supporting budget planning, tracking, and decision making.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and economy follow up on responsible projects - therefore, you must be able to understand the dependencies between schedule, risk and cost.
  • Responsible in the month end closing process, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis tasks.
  • Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Finance, Business or other relevant field.
  • Some experience in Finance and/or Project controlling and stakeholder reporting role.
  • Great communication skills in English both written and verbal, in addition if you speak Danish it will be a plus.
  • Some experience with Microsoft office especially Excel & Power Point & SAP ERP.
  • The ability to constructively confront status quo and directly influence others in a respectful manner under pressure, organize, manage, prioritize and execute on multiple deliverables.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Qliksense, or Tableau is considered as an advantage. It is important to have business acumen to be able to understand connections, dependencies and prioritizations in the departments and project portfolio, and that you have flair for translating complex issues into communication easily absorbed by upper management. As a person, you are curious to learn, and you are attentive to details. You have effective analytical capabilities. You are structured, take own initiatives and work independently across a broad stakeholder landscape. Your structured approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while keeping an eye for the details.
