Senior Designer - Bibs

BIBS is now looking for a Senior Designer to steer BIBS and evolve the product range to cement the position as market leader within pacifiers and to expand the offering within feeding products.

Job Role:

As the organization is expanding and professionalizing through several new key hires, we are looking to add a Senior Designer. As Senior Designer, you will be the creative catalyst of BIBS and will be reporting to the Head of Product Design. You will manage the team of 3 designers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the overall product strategy together with the Head of Product Management
• To identify the subcategories where BIBS can and should play a part
• Strengthen the unique product differentiators that the BIBS design DNA offers
• Research and spot emerging trends and incorporate them into the context of the BIBS assortment
• Leading and supporting the designers.
• Lead concept development in relation to design and creative outputs.
• Liaising with external partners such as suppliers or external designers to innovate the product assortment.
• Working closely with all internal stakeholders, especially product management team on range plans, assortment and product offerings.
  
  Skills:
• Academic degree from either industrial product design, interior or a background from engineering.
• Experience from design-led companies.
• A strong practical knowledge of product design and the technical elements of design
• Proven experience in conceptualisation of new products in the DNA of brands.
• Excellent understanding of trends and ability to translate them into the product
• Creative mindset to transform functional products into beautiful products intuitive to use
• Ability to design according to Scandinavian design aesthetics
• The ability to storyboard and convey ideas to stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational understanding and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and product collections at a time.
• Knowledge of prints, layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography etc.
• Ability to lead design projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to supervise and develop a team.
• Experience with design software, such as Adobe, Illustrator, CAD etc.

This role is based in BIBS' head office in Nordhavn, Copenhagen with a nice view to the sea, lovely lunch scheme
