The Position The position, based out of our Business Area office in Copenhagen, is part of a diverse, and engaged team reporting to the director of Business Finance. As Business Finance Manager:
• You will work as a finance partner to one of the European mid-size affiliates supporting the countries’ Finance & Operations Director.
• You will actively drive business decisions by translating financial data into insights; leveraging business- and having market understanding to support the country management team and the continued growth of the Business Area.
• You will be responsible for the mid-term financial planning and tracking financial and market performance for your respective country.
• Furthermore, you will be part of driving projects spanning all 6 countries and ensure best practise sharing across the NWE mid-size affiliates. Qualifications You are our ideal candidate if you:
• Hold a master’s degree in business, Finance or similar and carry relevant working experience.
• Possess strong personal and analytical skills and put pride in continuously improving your way of working, while being driven by partnering with affiliates in close collaboration with colleagues across the value chain.
• Possess a can-do and proactive mindset and approach tasks with a positive mind and a good sense of humour. You are comfortable taking on new responsibilities and you identify opportunities and involve yourself proactively.
• Have strong communication skill, being able to explain a complex situation in a concise and simple manner and enjoy cooperating with people at all levels of the organisation.
• Are fluent in written and spoken English. If you additionally have experience with business intelligence systems (e.g., SAP BO, PowerBI), it would be an advantage. About the Department Business Finance acts as the Centre of Excellence for the mid-size affiliates with 7 Business Finance Partners working dedicated as finance partners to the affiliates and two supporting the Business Area. The BA is comprised by affiliates in Belgium, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Portugal and Austria and employs around 500 employees. With a turnover of around DKK 5 billion the business area demonstrates one of the highest growth rates of the Region with ~25% sales growth. Working at Novo Nordisk
