Manufacturing at Ferrosan Medical Devices
Manufacturing in Ferrosan Medical Devices consists of approximately 140 people spread across key departments – two production departments, two Process Support teams, EHS and Technical Support, Utility & Facility. These departments work cohesively to ensure the seamless production and delivery of our cutting-edge medical devices, demonstrating a commitment to precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement adhering to Lean methodologies.

Position overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven EHS Partner to join our Manufacturing management team. In this role, the EHS Partner will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing and serve as a trusted partner in all EHS-related areas for the whole site. The EHS Partner will play a pivotal role in promoting a safe and compliant workplace and raising the bar for the overall EHS and ensuring a healthy work environment. In this role, you will work together with many different internal and external stakeholders, and you will have the opportunity to influence your own role.

Key responsibilities

  1. Promote a culture of compliance, driving continuous improvement across the business around Health & Safety (H&S) and Environmental matters.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain effective health & safety-programs and policies.
  3. Take the lead as a role model for safety behaviour and act as a trusted partner at different levels in the organization.
  4. Lead and participate in work-related H&S incident investigation, including corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Support the organization in the safety work and ensure progress and implementation of initiatives to continuously improve work safety.
  6. Develop and provide training and education on H&S procedures for employees at all levels and ensure knowledge sharing.
  7. Participate in and drive projects related to EHS.
  8. Keep the site updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the organization’s safety.
  9. Ensure relevant reporting on EHS internally and externally.
  10. Analyze and improve our existing focus on sustainability.

Qualifications
We are looking for a partner with proven experience within the field of EHS and with in-depth knowledge of occupational health, safety regulations and best practices.The following qualifications would be an advantage:

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • You have relevant EHS experience from a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing company within GMP-regulated production.
  • You are used to working with incident recording, systematic problem solving and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • You possess knowledge of the general legal requirements relating to EHS activities within production facilities.
  • You have a positive, proactive, and energetic approach and a "hands-on" mindset to make things happen.
  • You are persistent and dare to challenge and stand firm even when EHS is challenged.
  • You are a team player who can motivate and coach employees and managers.
  • You work well in collaboration with others but can also work independently.
  • You are used to meeting deadlines for tasks and projects.
  • You are proficient in both English and Danish, orally and in writing.
