Finance Business Partner with responsibility for FP&A

The Group Finance Department consists of a small team of dedicated Finance Business Partners. In this role you will be the Finance Business partner for Quality Management and Research & Development supporting the VP’s and their management team, providing sparring and analysis to support their decision process. In addition to this you will also have the overall responsibility for the Group Financial planning.

Your role

  • Lead the FP&A activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Take an active role in transformation to rolling forecast and other strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct revenue controlling and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports with a clear narrative and actionable insights.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions and initiatives.
  • Facilitate monthly follow-up meetings with your VPs to review financial performance, discuss projections etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Support the development of business cases and investment appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.

You probably have

  • A relevant financial degree.
  • + 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a production company.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency with financial modeling.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems and BI tools.
  • Curiosity regarding new technology and automation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Professional oral and written skills in both Danish and English.
