The position
As the Global Pricing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies for Novo Nordisk’s launch products and pipeline candidates within insulins, diabetes devices, and new medical innovations for people living with diabetes. Your role will involve:
• Developing pricing strategies to enable patient access for our pipeline and launch products.
• Providing strategic advice on pricing and patient access to our senior leadership.
• Generating pricing insights and delivering pricing insights for launch and in-market products.
• Analyzing and handling price business cases for strategic launch products.
• Ensuring effective communication towards operations to guide them on pricing strategies and execution.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the value chain and work alongside a team of pricing experts located in our Global offices in Søborg, Denmark, and in our Global Business Service unit in Bangalore, India.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have:
• At least 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, ideally with global or above-country operational pricing management experience.
• An M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in economics, health economics, business finance, or similar.
• Thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical pricing and market access landscape in major global markets.
• Proficient in conducting robust analysis and quantitative assessments to report on price developments and comparisons.
• Skilled in developing comprehensive pricing reports, dashboards, and business case assessments, along with the ability to conduct analytics and scenario planning to support pricing strategies.
• Individual leadership capabilities and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
As a person, you can effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders using spoken, written, and visual mediums. You act proactively in developing solutions to address future challenges and opportunities by effectively listening and reading the organization.

The Global Pricing department is crucial to the commercial success of Novo Nordisk’s products in enabling access to our portfolio and pipeline of innovative medicines and technologies across the world. We are responsible for developing global pricing and contracting strategies for all our assets, for providing insights and recommendations to senior management, and for providing pricing guidance to the organization to support product development and commercialization.
