Your position
In Renewables we have major EPC-projects in the pipeline for short- and long-term operation. Thus, we are looking for a Planning Manager, who not only can execute high level planning activities and leading the team but also is motivated by being a part of a rewarding green industry and developing the Planning team to meet our ambitious strategy.

Your base is one of our offices either in Esbjerg, Copenhagen, Aalborg, or Gdynia, and for working with col­leagues on the other locations you should expect around 25 travel days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
Reporting to our COO, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate time­lines, resource allocation, and adherence to project goals.You will have a close coordination with Cost Control and Finance on ensuring correct cost accounting, invoicing, and milestone payments as well as Procurement to ensure supplier schedules are well incorporated. It makes it key that you thrive in a leading position, where you through excel­lent planning and team companionship ensure we always matches requirements.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing, mentoring, and developing the Planning Team of 5 employees with focus on performance and thriving
  • Overseeing all relevant project control tasks in the EPC portfolio
  • Leading, organizing, and developing the planning function e.g. maintain and improve planning and reporting procedures
  • Supporting Tender & Sales with responses to bids, proposals, and contract negotiations, and give input to capacity
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to collect progress updates, analyse schedule variances, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Preparing reports for Senior Management meetings with progress, forecast, and mitigation strategies

Your profile & qualifications
You are a people manager with focus on setting your team up for success while you enjoy leading efficient resource allo­cation with an eye for anticipating potential bottlenecks in project execution. To us it means that have an analytical, operational, and solution-oriented approach as well as you can manage multiple concurrent projects. Further­more, you can work on a strategic level, and you enjoy having responsibility.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project scheduling within large-scale technical construction pro­jects – preferably from the offshore wind industry
  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of scheduling principles, critical path analysis, resource levelling, and project management
  • Expertise in scheduling software Primavera P6
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English language
