Sales Manager - Personal Care

[xxxxx]is looking for an experienced Sales Manager Personal Care to join CosTech Chemicals ApS, a leading chemical distribution company specializing in raw materials and additives sales and service for personal care, home care, and pharma industries in the Nordic countries. The company is innovative and has a strong portfolio of carefully selected suppliers and brands, and a unique service concept.

As of 2021 the company has been a part of Bang & Bonsomer Group, which has further strengthened CosTech Chemicals ApS position in the Scandinavian market.

Responsibility and tasks
The CosTech team consists of two sales supporters, a Technical and Marketing Manager and a Sales Manager. With strong support from the rest of the team the candidate will in time get the responsibility of customers based in Denmark and Sweden. This includes;

  • Responsibility for own costumers
  • Conducting costumer meetings etc.
  • Identify relevant projects and drive the sales process.
  • Close collaboration with our suppliers and organize co-visits with suppliers when relevant
  • Stay up to date on trends within the cosmetic industry

The right candidate
CosTech Chemicals ApS is known in the industry for being an advisor with a service-provider approach and do not act as “chemistry pushers”. As such the right candidate:

  • Is good at creating strong and lasting relations to customers and partners
  • Have a background within chemistry or equivalent
  • Is proactive, independent and service minded
  • Experience within the cosmetic industry is preferred not required

Workplace and travel
CosTech is located in Smørum, in Greater Copenhagen. As the candidate will get the full responsibility for some costumers, it must be expected to travel locally in Denmark and Sweden, approx 5-6 days per month. Further, there will be activities such as yearly meetings with the rest of the sales team in Europe and 1-3 yearly seminars/conferences.
