BAT DENMARK IS LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR EXECUTIVE IN SUPPLY CHAIN

FUNCTION: Operations

SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary + excellent benefits

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fix termed for 12 months.

LOCATION: Copenhagen, Denmark.

ROLE OBJECTIVES

The role is based in our ambitious and dynamic Supply Chain team. The role is responsible for amongst others driving the sustainability agenda focused in reducing the carbon footprint within secondary supply chain operations. To support with the digitalization strategic journey of supply chain, the role will also include project responsibilities in terms of scoping and understanding the current state, defining the action plans, discussing with key stakeholders to enable and drive the change along with leading and/or supporting other supply chain and functional logistics projects. The role will need to lead the activities and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to contribute to our deliverables.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Scoping, Driving and Management of Projects
• Data Analysis and Management in a presentable manner
• Engage with Global Team on reporting
• Preparation of dashboard by managing large datasets
• Liaise with sustainability team on best practice and provide frequent progress updates to relevant stakeholders
• Support customers with knowledge sharing and build strong relationships
• Manage daily reporting activities
• Have an agile, resilient, and proactive mindset for driving different projects at the same time
• Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of law and regulations relating to environmental protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• A background from leading sustainability projects
• Understanding of Supply Chain Operations (Planning and Logistics)
• Basic Experience in building BI reports using Microsoft PowerBI or similar
• Able to identify areas for improvement and proactively implement solutions
• Work independently while managing complexity and deadlines
• Effective and clear in communication and presentation both verbal and written skills
• Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems e.g., SAP and Excel
• Analytical skills and basic knowledge of company management
• Have a collaborative and flexible style
• Have the ability to prioritise, is resilient and organised with a structured and detailed approach
• Business or University degree within business management

BENEFICIAL

• Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Knowledge about ERP systems such as SAP or similar.
• Have experience and understanding of emission scopes and drivers.
• Keen to stay updated with the latest innovations in sustainability.
