A Cabin Manager is a vital part of SAS’ leadership and acts of the first line leadership to motivate, guide, support and follow up on our excellent Cabin Crew. The market is tough, and the competition has increased, thus it is of outmost importance that we continue to deliver the industry's best customer service on board, of course with Safety as our priority.

We are looking for you

- a team player - who want to take on the challenge of being involved in developing the Copenhagen base in close collaboration with the Head office in Stockholm. The focus is to ensure working conditions for our Cabin Crew to achieve the high goals within Safety & Customer Satisfaction. In your daily leadership, your Cabin Crew is in the center and focus working through strong communication, cooperation, and trust.

Your daily workplace is Crew Base Copenhagen with occasional visits in Head Office in Stockholm. In Crew Base Copenhagen, we currently have about 875 employees. Including you, - there will be five Cabin Managers in Crew Base Copenhagen. The position reports to the Head of Cabin Crew, Copenhagen which is organizational placed in Head Office in Stockholm with regular visits at the Cabin Crew Bases. The Cabin Manager will be a part of the local management team in Crew Base Copenhagen and a part of the Scandinavian Cabin Crew leader group.

Key Responsibilities

As Manager Cabin Crew, you will have personnel responsibility for about 200 Cabin Crew. Cabin Manager's overall goal is to create conditions for Cabin Crew to achieve the goals for Safety, Punctuality and Care and to provide our customers with a competitive customer service. An important focus in your leadership is to ensure that Cabin Crew has insight and understanding of SAS's business, commercial offering, and objectives. You need to inspire your group of Cabin Crew and always have “employee engagement” it the back of your mind. In your role as Cabin Manager, you are responsible for delivery and follow-up, communication, development and change work, competence development activities and recruitment processes.

- You are responsible for ensuring that Cabin Crew has the prerequisites to comply with SAS Aviation Operations Standard Procedures and coordinate scheduling issues with Crew Planning.

- You will also be responsible for the delegated daily work environment of Copenhagen Cabin Crew, thus working with work environment.

- You will be included in a team who is responsible for sharing an “urgency phone watch”.

Your background

You may have experience within Aviation management. You can demonstrate skills within “long-distance” leadership – working with large volume employee groups.

Has relevant higher education

Good language skills in any Scandinavian language and English

Good IT skills and good administrative skills

Experience with People platform, recruitment and HR knowledge is an advantage
