Associate scientist to non-GMP Chemical Pilot Plant

The position As Associate Scientist you will be part of establishing and running a new chemical suite in close collaboration with chemical technicians. Your primary tasks will be related to:

Establishment of our new chemical suite with chemical reactor and utilities

Planning and process execution, as well as documentation.

Troubleshooting of equipment and upscaling of processes

The Pilot handles purification and spray drying alongside chemical modification, so with time you can also gain knowledge and skills within these disciplines. Qualifications Our ideal candidate possess:

A master's degree in organic chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent

Experience from upscaling of chemical processes

As a person, you are well structured, have good planning skills and are prepared to learn how a pilot plant is operated. We expect you to have excellent collaboration skills since the job involves collaboration across different areas with people from diverse backgrounds. Further, you should feel confident with and be able to make carefully considered decisions in a hectic work environment. About the Team You will be part of a team of around 10 employees responsible for operating our new non-GMP plant in Bagsværd. You will work closely with technicians, laboratory technicians, and scientists across teams and departments to ensure API deliveries for non-clinical trials.
