We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for all Novo Nordisk non-clinical and clinical trials. The Position As a Product Owner to support the end-users on our HOT (Handling of temperature) system and contribute to the journey we embarked on that will introduce new technologies and possibilities to manage clinical trials even better. In most of our clinical trials we use our IT system called HOT to handle evaluation of any temperature deviations taking place at sites globally. The system is one of its kind a has been developed by [xxxxx] A/S in close collaboration with an external supplier. This is the system where you will play a key role by being constantly improving the system to the benefit of our end-users. You will do this in close collaboration with your Agile team and Line of Business. Your main tasks will be:
  • Prepare and drive the definition of product vision and roadmap for the HOT system

  • Supporting escalated cases with our vendor, training colleagues in the system, preparing guides training material and much more,

  • Work with stakeholders and Agile team to ensure constant flow in the development activities

  • Ensure end user input are gathered, prioritized and presented as user-stories

  • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree within IT, engineering, pharmaceutical science, business development or similar,

  • Experience working in pharmaceutical industry,

  • Knowledge of various LEAN principles

  • Super user experience in IT systems

  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken

  • It would be considered an advantage if you have experience from working in a similar role as Product owner or Process Manager, from IT system support or process driven position, and knowledge and experience in clinical trials and temperature deviation processes. You are a team player and find motivation when reaching common goals and you are eager to serve our customers around the world. Furthermore, you have the ability to juggle with several tasks at a time and enjoy solving these in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. About the Department As Product owner, you will be a part of Operation & Support, a team of 15 dedicated colleagues responsible for handling temperature deviations in clinical trials either manually or via a HOT, suppport on temperature monitoring devices, quality/training support, cLean, PWO and general trial product handling support to affiliates and clinical sites globally. You will join Supply Chain Planning which is a part of Clinical Supplies in CMC Development. We are responsible for the overall planning of the production, packaging, and distribution of products for [xxxxx] clinical trials worldwide. The department consist of five teams, supporting the execution of clinical trials by forecasting and monitoring product demand, ordering products/materials, planning the packaging and shipping of trial products and supporting the overall trial conduct at the clinical sites with a focus on trial product related processes and systems.
