We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join our team, dedicated to accelerating the adaptation of AI/Deep Learning in our aseptic manufacturing. The position As a Lead Data Scientist, you will take on the role as a Product Owner and play a pivotal role in spearheading the product vision and roadmap for our industry pioneering Deep Learning products for automated vision inspection lines (AVI’s). Your innovative mindset and ability to drive change autonomously will be crucial as we continue to enhance our global manufacturing capabilities. Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and drive the product vision and roadmap

  • Deliver Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

  • Build, prioritize and maintain product backlog according to OKRs i.e. business needs

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and the product team to ensure flow and remove obstacles for model development, implementation, validation and maintenance

  • Facilitate Agile team events (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups) and maintain the pipeline platform

  • Technical guidance: Leverage technical knowledge to make informed decisions about product features, technical feasibility, architecture, and integrations

  • Manage documentation: Ensure that all product-related documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders

  • Risk management: Identify potential risks related to the solution and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, considering regulatory requirements for AI in drug manufacturing

  • You will be part of a product team consisting of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers where you will set the priorities and be accountable for the deliverables. You will work in close collaboration with the production sites and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
    In this role, up to 30 days of international travels per year can be expected. Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you have:
  • MSc Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent

  • +6 years of professional experience from AI/ML deployments incl. Deep Learning and related technologies

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) combined with an advanced knowledge of Agile principles, methodology, and events e.g. from SCRUM

  • Strong business insight and AI knowledge, from the manufacturing domain as well as GMP validation experience is an advantage

  • Professional proficiency in English
