The Position
The position is newly established, and you will have the opportunity to impact and develop the role together with your leader and the rest of organization by being responsible for establishing and maintaining the project and portfolio management methodology, ensuring adherence to standards, providing guidance, and training, and developing tools and templates. A major part of our deliverables is anchored at executive level, which requires the ability to challenge and collaborate across professional disciplines and functional areas, while also providing a high level of visibility, accountability and hands on interaction throughout the value chain. Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving change management assignments aimed at enhancing project management processes and mentoring the organization for effective portfolio execution
  • Implementing and continuous improving project management processes and tools ensuring project delivery and identifying potential bottlenecks and mitigations
  • Implementing state of the art portfolio management principles such as streamlined reporting, risk management and enterprise portfolio management system (pWr)
  • Providing insightful portfolio analysis and understanding of the development project pipeline towards senior management and governance
  • Managing change with various stakeholders, ensuring buy-in, commitment, and training to facilitate successful transformation
  • You will collaborate with other drug development portfolio management offices across the [xxxxx] organization.

    Qualification
    The ideal candidate will have a balanced profile of scientific and strategic competences combined with strong execution skills and change management experience, navigating in a complex environment and driving impactful initiatives forward. To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A master’s degree within a relevant field of expertise such as science, engineering, business
  • Several years’ experience in portfolio and project management frameworks, processes, and tools
  • Experience in working for big and complex companies
  • People leadership experience
  • Full English Proficiency
  • It will be seen as an advantage if you have been working in the pharma, biotech or similar preferably with roles in various areas of the value chain. On a personal level, you have excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of structuring material to enable efficient reporting and decision-making, while also tailoring the level of communication across stakeholders.
    About the CVP area
    Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT) Development Product Portfolio (DPP) is a new area in PSQIT at [xxxxx], established to gather all portfolio management units from 'CMC Development & Scaling’ and across ‘Product Supply’ (PS). The purpose of the new area is to improve [xxxxx]’s ability to prioritize and develop our pipeline with a keen focus on product potential, manufacturability, scalability as well as future capacity needs in close collaboration with Global Supply Chain. The new organization will act as a single point of entry into PSQIT providing an end-to-end and seamless overview, ensuring commercial scalability and manufacturability is in focus from early development.
