The team waiting for you The Senior Project Manager will be based in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT), Core M&A Team based in Strategy & Transformation, reporting to the Vice President of DD&IT, M&A. Strategy & Transformation is a newly established area with ~100 employees, mainly based out of Denmark (Ballerup). The area also consists of departments such as IT-Strategy, Communication, Enterprise Architecture, Business Development as well as a strategic transformation program. For the past year we have established the Core M&A Team, with the purpose of handling the expected inflow of M&A transactions impacting DD&IT. While the role will organisationally be based Strategy & Transformation, it will be presenting all of DD&IT as well as having diverse stakeholders across the [xxxxx] value chain. Let’s talk about the role As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing M&A activities in the Core M&A team as well as across DD&IT, either as part of a large transaction or by managing own transactions. Additional responsibilities will be to:
  • Participate in both Due Diligence and Integrations for the M&A activtivies in [xxxxx], however, with an ofset in DD&IT

  • Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders through the different M&A phases, depending on deal type and deal structure to make an impact for the better of [xxxxx]

  • Actively engage with other areas of DD&IT as well as key stakeholders outside DD&IT and include these when relevant

  • Participate in building up capabilities together with team members as well as across the value chain

  • What we scout for To succeed in this role, we imagine you meet most of the following:
  • Significant work experience in project management in Due Diligence and/ or Integration, preferably in IT

  • Around 7 years of experience, preferably in large complex organisations where you have been part of the whole M&A process

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT or another relevant field

  • Strong combination of technical, business, and analytical skills and can apply these to different problems

  • On a personal level, you are a team player and can build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels of an organisation. You can work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on. Additionally, success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Working at [xxxxx]
