GITO is a global organisation with over 450 employees in more than 70 countries supporting all end-users cross Novo Nordisk. Our core mission is to oversee, enhance, and modernize infrastructure operations, global service desk, and digital workplace services. The position leads our GITO Strategy and Transformation department, a team of approx. 30 highly skilled and dedicated individuals tasked with catalysing transformative initiatives such as the adoption of agile methodologies and enhancing stakeholder engagement to ensure a consistent delivery of value to the business. Additionally, this role is instrumental in guiding the strategic planning for our Global IT Operations, ensuring a judicious equilibrium between the maintenance of existing solutions and their modernization. As the leader of our GITO Strategy and Transformation department, you will be directly reporting to the Corporate Vice President of GITO and becoming an integral part of the GITO management team, which comprises 10 dedicated members. Your role is pivotal in facilitating cross-organizational transformations, steering the direction and communication of our GITO strategy, and ensuring that agile activities and execution proceed smoothly. Moreover, this position is crucial in guiding the strategic planning for our Global IT Operations, maintaining a strategic balance between the ongoing operation of current solutions and their progressive modernization. In your role, you will primarily focus on the following areas:
  • People management: Cultivating, coaching and developing your team
  • Leading strategic Initiatives: You will drive and support key strategic improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with the organisation to ensure their success
  • Agile Execution Oversight: You will monitor and ensure that agile activities and their execution are progressing as planned, keeping them aligned with strategic goals
  • Agile Methodology Advocacy: You will champion initiatives that promote agile ways of working, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Strategy Development and Communication: You will be responsible for the development and dissemination of the GITO Strategy, ensuring it is understood and embraced across the organisation
  • External Representation: You will represent GITO in external forums, acting as a Business Development Partner with a focus on stakeholder management and meeting the evolving needs of the business
  • Global IT Operations is an international organization, so many of our meetings are conducted virtually and across different time zones. We offer flexible working hours and locations, allowing you to work from both home and our office in Ballerup. What we scout for
    As an individual, you possess a natural empathy and excel at forging strong relationships. You are an attentive listener, skilled at challenging perspectives, empowering individuals, and adept at navigating conflicts. To be successful in this role, we would expect you to meet the following requirements:
  • MSC, MBA or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent job experience
  • Certification in change management and coaching preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Solid transformation knowledge from larger projects
  • Ability to develop organisational strategy, change, and development.
  • Strong People Leadership skills
