The position
This role focuses on providing support and developing HPLC/UPLC-based solutions for our expanding manufacturing facilities in DK and US. Your responsibilities will include:
• Provide analytical support for MDev optimization projects and assist Quality Control laboratories, ensuring stability and advancement of manufacturing processes.
• Serve as the primary scientist for your analytical methods, ensuring outcomes meet requirements, operate seamlessly, and are delivered on time.
• Troubleshoot and approve results, develop, validate, and transfer methods to QC laboratories.
• Collaborate with specialists, scientists/engineers, technicians, project/manufacturing teams, QA/QC, research/analytical teams, and vendors.
• Ensure vital deliveries through your unique skill set and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly adaptable professional with analytical, innovative, and collaborative skills. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise and the ability to excel independently and within a team.
To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
• M.Sc., or Ph.D. in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., chemistry, biotechnology or equivalent)
• Experience with liquid chromatographic analysis development and validation (HPLC/UPLC)
• Experience with analytical instruments and handling of data
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders and collaborators
It will be an advantage if you have:
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry/knowledge of GMP
• Experience with LIMS, Waters HPLC/UPLC systems, Empower software
• Good organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)
About the Department
In PS API in DK and US, we manufacture the high-quality API’s that are the main components in all [xxxxx] products. Manufacturing development, or just MDev, is specialised in supporting the manufacturing processes.
PS API MDev Analytical Support is responsible for providing analytical support to PS API MDev’s optimisation projects, as well as supporting process and analytical development for new products and facilities. The department plays a vital role in support to the production and QC laboratories in PS API.
PS API MDev Analytical Support is located in Kalundborg and is comprised of 80 engaged employees organised in five teams. This position is in the chemical support team.
