The position In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the initial access strategy for pivotal pipeline assets, focusing on defining value and opportunity, contributing to payer evidence strategy, and providing guidance on pipeline assets. You will play a crucial role in executing and honing the HTA (Health Technology Assessment) strategy for significant launch assets, working closely with regional teams to ensure top-tier product launches. Furthermore, you will lead launch preparation activities for payer and value communication within the Rare Renal & Endocrine Disorders (RRED ) Access team, supporting the formulation of strategies and associated payer tools. You will have the opportunity to:
  • Lead launch preparation activities on payer value communication strategy and planning for one or more rare disease brands launching in the coming years
  • Develop payer value communication materials and tools, including interactive budget impact tools, leave pieces, digital toolkits, data visualizations, and other value demonstration materials
  • Support relevant payer engagement activities to inform the stakeholder engagement approach, including payer advisory boards
  • Assist regions and affiliates with training in payer value argumentation and payer negotiation skills as well as on various payer tools
  • Identify key external stakeholders and build relationships to support payer engagement efforts
  • Qualifications To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, economics, HEOR, public health science, or similar.
  • A minimum of Five years of experience in value strategy, value communication, or health economics and health outcomes research, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy
  • Product launch experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working in Rare Diseases is preferable
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
