The Position As Product Development Scientist, you will be involved in bringing our new oral development projects from development to market. You will be allocated one or more development projects and you will be responsible for planning, executing, concluding on and reporting of development studies. The main tasks will be to:
  • Design development studies and assist your technicians who conduct the study in our in-house laboratories/production facilities
  • Evaluate and conclude on process and product data in order to determine the next step in the development process
  • Develop a processes suitable for GMP production for clinical studies and to ensure transfer the process to the production responsible
  • Ultimately ensure transfer of the process to our production sites for market production
  • You will need to combine your process and drug product understanding to make conclusions about the next step as well as cooperate with other scientists and technicians.
    Qualifications
  • To succeed in this role, you:
  • Hold a master’s degree and/or a PhD in science within Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering or similar field
  • Have experience within Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) or production, product development, process support, process transfer, or process validation
  • Have knowledge of powder technology, tablet formulation/production and final product
  • Possess some project management skills to help you coordinate tasks
  • Have good communication skills in oral and written English.

You will succeed in this position if have a curiosity-driven and analytical mind. Since we are breaking new land in a newly established organization, willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities is key for success.
    About the Department Product Development & Launch employs approximately 70 highly skilled and motivated employees with the missions to bring oral solid dosage forms from development to market production, to optimize the processes and products, to support the production sites, document the stability for the products and build up the documentation for authorities for new products and for marketed products.
