On behalf of Deloitte Denmark, we are handling the recruitment of an exciting role as Actuarial Manager for the ARAA department (Actuarial, Risk & Advanced Analytics) that is a specialized and successful business area, where Deloitte offers top of the class advisory and solutions. In the role, you will work with a broad range of clients, in collaboration with highly specialised and experienced colleagues across the Deloitte network, and you will manage audits and actuarial advisory projects. For audits a significant part will also be to coordinate with the audit teams. You will work out of Deloitte’s Danish head office in Copenhagen, where most of your team in ARAA also work.
Specialist role, where you will provide expertise and deliver high quality in audits and projects
You will work as a specialist, where you will be in close contact with your clients’ businesses, and to whom you will develop, implement, and manage models and projects, make audits, provide advice about methods, and perform valuations. In your role, you will collaborate with and be exposed to specialists across the ARAA business area and Deloitte branch offices in the Nordics and internationally, and with specialists and decisionmakers at your clients. You will contribute to the execution of ARAA’s strategy, and you will take active part in developing new business opportunities and prioritized service offerings. Your tasks will include to:

- perform actuarial audits on technical provisions and financial statements for clients and in collaboration with audit teams.
- develop and implement models and processes together with the clients.
- provide advisory on reserving methods for especially life and maybe non-life insurance.
- advise on financial legislation such as Solvency II or accounting standards for insurance (e.g., IFRS 17).
- perform valuations of life or non-life insurance companies.
- manage projects and develop new business opportunities.
A qualified Actuary, who are comfortable with clients and have business acumen

- Financial educational background as e.g., cand.act. or similar, and with at least 5 years’ practical experience from the insurance sector.
- Specialist within the actuarial field from either life or non-life insurance.
- Fluent in English and Danish, both in writing and verbally, and skills in other Scandinavian language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
