Senior Technology Vendor Manager to Nuuday

You are offered an opportunity to join Nuuday in the midst of a transformation across the business, and where one track is to run a multi-partner setup. This leads to an increased need for managing and developing close relations with multiple business critical partners. Furthermore, and because Nuuday is a technology business, your role will be a key player.
As Senior Vendor Manager, you will join a Vendor Center of Excellence team with 7 FTEs, where your colleagues cover various tasks, such as controlling and managing smaller and larger partners. You will be expected to lead relations to selected key partners, and you will be supported by colleagues in Legal, Procurement, and Finance as well as by your team colleagues.
You will report to the Head of IT Vendor Management, and your primary work location can either be in Copenhagen or Aarhus.
Leading Best Practice in realisation of Vendor business cases
Next to managing and developing business critical technology partners, you will as Senior Vendor Manager take a leading role in developing governance, standards, and templates for relations to partners, and advising on how partners best can be onboarded into Nuuday. Furthermore, you will take a proactive role in maturing the organisation regarding partner collaboration and with a continuous focus on creating best practices and trying out new approaches.
In your role, you will have capable and experienced colleagues that support across all parts of the partner life cycle management. The deep technical insights, you will get from your stakeholders (or customers) in the Technology organisation. Some of your primary responsibilities will include following:

As Senior Vendor Manager, you are engaging and delegating and genuinely focused on establishing win-win and strong collaborations. You thrive in a combination of managing and developing partner contracts as well as maturing Vendor Management as an Excellence area. Towards your stakeholders, you demonstrate understanding, show flexibility, and can clear away obstacles that arise due to confusion about roles and responsibilities; in other words, you have a good eye for when you need to be proactive and take ownership.

- Contribute to building a lean organisation with integrated standardised services and offerings from external partners to provide value-adding services to the business.
- Develop Nuuday Technology to become a more efficient multi-partner integrator.
- In close collaboration with Technology Strategy and Management team define and implement a Sourcing strategy for Nuuday Technology.
- Align with Contract Owner about objective, strategy, and roadmap of the relationship with the partner and setup performance and objective measures for the engagement.
- Ensure controlling of contractual and commercial aspects of the agreement and drive the resolution of any contractual and commercial issues.
- Be actively involved in the sourcing process of new partners to ensuring that the agreement is compliant to our sourcing strategi and manageable afterward.
Experienced in developing and executing Technology Vendor Management
As Senior Vendor Manager, you are engaging and delegating and genuinely focused on establishing win-win and strong collaborations. You thrive in a combination of managing and developing partner contracts as well as maturing Vendor Management as an Excellence area. Towards your stakeholders, you demonstrate understanding, show flexibility, and can clear away obstacles that arise due to confusion about roles and responsibilities; in other words, you have a good eye for when you need to be proactive and take ownership.
You are of course analytical, and facts based in your work, and this you combine with professional skills in following:
- Experience from a role dealing with technology partners, developing relationships, managing contracts, and making negotiations.
- A good broad understanding of the IT value chain, and what represents infrastructure, applications, consultancy services, etc.
- Project management experience.
- Fluent in English, Danish is not a requirement.
