The Position We are looking for a skilled and energetic Project Manager to join our Department Support team and take up a leading role in the newly established Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO supports broadly on a wide variety of projects – in an environment on the verge of moving into commercial production. Our department is in constant motion and every week includes new challenges and needs, new initiatives and projects. For the coming years the activities are a boiling mix of development studies, validation- and improvements as well as commercial production and strategic initiatives needed to support our capacity journey the coming years. You will be working closely with the Associate Manager and the Project Portfolio Partner to secure that the direction and ambition of the PMO is brought to life. You will also be acting as project manager responsible for leading you own projects. Among other tasks, you will be responsible for:
  • Overall project management of new and existing projects
  • Sparring and close collaboration with the PMO Management team to secure that we deliver on the ambitions of the PMO
  • Facilitate and drive workshops related to delivering on the strategic goals of the department
  • Coaching, guidance and training project managers and supporters in the Department to develop a project, planning- and risk-based mindset
  • The Department Support team consist of 12 colleagues within a variety of knowledge areas – 2 Pas-X Supporters, 1 SAP Supporter, 2 cLEAN Partners, 1 Data Engineer, 3 Student Assistants and 3 Project Managers. Qualifications We are still establishing many critical roles and functions in the Department and the PMO is one of them. This means you will be able to impact the frames of the role, but it also requires an independent and can-do attitude. To succeed in this role, you:
  • Have an academic degree and a proven track record within Project Management preferably in a regulated industry
  • Have strong communication skills and are not afraid to actively reach out and connect with colleagues
  • Are good at setting direction and drive meetings, reach agreements and alignment and place the responsibilities where they belong
  • Are ready to join a strategic environment where the coming years will contain adventures and challenges and difficult prioritisations
