We are looking for high-calibre and talented Automation tester to join our Software Development team.

The candidates will be required to demonstrate their expertise and ability to automate UI, API and other test suite required for maximum code coverage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Test Automation creation based on existing solution (JavaScript, ejs, node.js, postgres)
• Explore existing solution and introduce improvements
• Closely cooperate with joint Test Automation teams from customers’ and 3rd party vendor side
• Work with stakeholders to align with prioritization and strategic approaches
• Test Automation Framework development and maintenance
• Port over existing tests to new solution and restructuring them
• Build stable integration test package
• Fill in gaps in test coverage and add new scenarios
• Work closely with the Development team to deliver the tasks in time and with the expected quality
• Bring ideas regarding test / code design
• Enable test over CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

Personal Requirements:

• Minimum experience in Automation Testing 5- 9 years
• Relevant experience in JavaScript should be minimum 2.5 to 3 years. Hands on experience on Protractor or Mocha or Chai or Jest or Puppeteer or Cypress
• Should have experience on JavaScript, Typescript, UI Automation, Web driver I/O
• Hands on experience on API Automation, Test Strategy, Writing test cases and on Test Automation framework

Experience Requirement:

• 3 - 4 years Protractor or Mocha or Chai or Jest or Puppeteer or Cypress
• 5 Years - JavaScript
• 3 - 5 Years - UI automation
• 3 - 5 Years Web driver I/O
• 3 - 5 years API testing

Qualifications Requirement:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming, or equivalent qualification in computer science.

Other:

Application received from candidate based in Malta or EU/EEA would be preferred and who can join immediately or willing to relocate to Malta from EU/EEA without any work permit sponsorship

Training provided:

On the job and periodic based on skill requirement
