  • Responsible for development of robust and scalable purification processes both by hands-on laboratory work and in close collaboration with our CDMOs/CMOs.

  • Participate in cross-functional project groups

  • Perform, evaluate and report experimental work in close collaboration with laboratory technicians

  • Ensure a seamless flow of technical and scientific knowledge between [xxxxx] and our external partners, whose activities you will be supporting, including review of documents and troubleshooting during production

  • Be innovative in experimental design and optimization, identifying new solutions to technical problems, data handling and secure intellectual property rights

  • Hold a M.Sc. or PhD in biochemistry, chemical engineering, protein chemistry or related discipline

  • Have industrial experience in process development

  • Understand CDMO/CMO way of working

  • Drive complex tasks independently and can set direction when challenges arise in your projects

  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills that enable you to interact with many stakeholders from different functions within and out of the organisation

  • Have experience within downstream unit operations such as chromatography, filtration (UF/DF) and supporting analytics.

  • Your tasks will require that you are both focused on scientific details and can maintain and communicate an overview of the project to your stakeholders – so it is important that you thrive in both settings. As a person, you possess a solution-oriented mindset and have a strong practical capability to translate theory into practical solutions for technical challenges. Your positive attitude enables you to work efficiently, whether as a team player or independently, even when dealing with complex tasks, to ensure timely progress. About the Department The team is part of Downstream Development in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control) API Development, located in Bagsværd. Our main responsibility is to develop and support downstream processes for clinical production of API at CDMOs/CMOs. The department has approximately 100 employees divided in 8 teams. You will become part of a team consisting of around 10 skilled, dedicated laboratory technicians and scientists.
