The job description

As a tester in the Test Management team, you will be responsible for planning test activities as well as taking part in test activities to ensure project delivery, including tests for our mission critical naval systems.

As a tester, you will collect and refine knowledge and take ownership of planning for quality – as well as being important sparring partner for colleagues in and outside your team.

You will as a member of the Test Management team contribute to maturation of methods, tools, and processes to ensure cohesive (and automated) testing practices.

An increasing focus is CI/CD and several levels of test automation, where all the work we do also comes with a great support from the surrounding software developers, system engineers, software team testers, and all the other technical experts we have – all who gladly share their vast knowledge.

We work both in scrum teams and project teams, within our working family in the MDS organization of 185+ highly engaged colleagues, in an area of great focus and importance in [xxxxx].
This position is in Søborg, and the team will cross both Søborg and Lystrup, so some travel between the sites must be expected.

How to succeed in this position?

We expect you to have:

  • Solid experience with testing activities in software development, with an understanding of what to best test where and when – and how the tools can support this.
  • Documented knowledge of testing with agile development methods (Scrum) as well as more project-oriented process, with an understanding of the values created by Continuous Integration and Delivery.
  • Knowledge of the software testing principles combined with a certification in ISTQB, TMAP or similar.
  • And most of all, a real passion for testing and a flair for test management,
